Labor Practice

Currently serving as General Counsel for the Cleveland Police Patrolmen’s Association, Moriarty has represented the Association and individual officers throughout the State of Ohio since 1994. His practice includes:

  • Arbitration of disputes arising under collective bargaining agreement
  • Appeals to the State Employment Relations Board
  • Non-contractual claims
 

Appellate Experience

Moriarty has extensive experience working with appellate judges throughout Ohio. He is also licensed to practice before the United States Supreme Court, The United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, the Ohio Supreme Court, and the Ohio Court of Appeals.
  • Manage hundreds of appeals, at various levels of appellate courts, with high rate of reversals
  • Participated in en banc hearing before entire Sixth Circuit Panel for capital murder case
